The Glen Rock Train Stop Pop Up, hosted by Glen Rock Borough, is proud to announce its return for the 4th consecutive market season. Our market aims to keep vendor costs low and relies on sponsorship for our marketing costs.

The Glen Rock Train Stop Pop Up aims to set an example offering the best sustainable produce and products of Southern York County. Every week our vendors will showcase their expertise and commitment to demonstrate to the community the benefits of, and need for, diverse local and sustainable products.

Our mission is to build a viable economic outlet for local growers and makers through a monthly market and weekly online mix that will provide the highest quality, diverse produce and products while recognizing the importance of sustainable practices in an effort to teach, grow and change in a beneficial way for the community and the environment.

Each market will host several Glen Rock based agricultural producers as well as sustainable crafters and body care makers. Further, we encourage local non-profits to join us, free of charge, to hold in-person fund-raisers on festival market days. In addition, Macaroni Kids of South York offers free educational crafts and games for all the kids.

Our goals for the 2021 season include expanding our online farmers market, expanding our digital and print marketing and improving our online and on-site presence. The online market will be a weekly assortment of fresh produce and products from a variety of our market vendors. The idea is in direct response to customer requests to have better access to our vendors’ products.

Your sponsorship will fund all of the various expenses that go along with producing this market and reaching our potential customers. Any funds generated beyond the expenses of the market will be used to encourage community connectivity, promote economic growth and improve environmental health in Glen Rock through the non-profit organization’s various endeavors.
