See Ya Summer, Hello Holidays
Dear Pop Uppers, can you believe we have come to the end of our regular market season? This week is the last week for regular season orders and Sunday is our last Front Porch Pop Up. It happened slowly and all of a sudden and I'm not ready for the it but I sure am looking forward to it. Clearly, I have mixed feelings about the close of the 2020 Glen Rock Train Stop Pop Up. This sure has been a wild season and I am so proud of what our market has been able to accomplish in such an uncertain time.
Our vendors stepped up and learned an entirely new sales system. Then they all worked so well together to support our rotating Front Porch Pop Up line up. I couldn't have been more delighted to work with them and am lucky to have found a group of dedicated growers and makers. I really am their biggest fan! I know that they will provide us all the best of the best of what they do for our Pop Up Online Holiday Markets.
Speaking of holiday markets, let me break down the plan for you. The Pop Up Online Holiday Markets will happen monthly to coincide with major holiday celebrations; Thanksgiving, Christmas, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter. The ordering window will be open for up to 2 weeks and pickups will be the Thursday before the holiday at ALL of the pickup locations. Reminders will be sent out early and often. Share with your friends and show some love to our vendors who won't have as many opportunities this year for sales.
We're currently adding a few guest vendors for our holiday markets too! If you're interested in joining us as a vendor and make a high quality product please shoot me an email at glenrocktrianstoppopup.com. After our Easter market we will go right into our regular season weekly markets and trust me, the time will FLY by.
Thank you to the Glen Rock Mill Inn for hosting our weekly Front Porch Pop Up markets. They were the most fun markets I've had the pleasure of attending and really helped give us all the dose of community we all needed this summer. May the winter season be good to you and may there be more sticky chicken thighs on the menu!
Thank you also to our pickup location hosts; Glen Rock EMS, Life in Balance Yoga and Untamed Boutique. I'm looking forward to working with them more in the future and they will definitely be receiving my support this holiday season. Donations and yoga and gifts, oh my!
The blog posts will slow down with the markets but make sure you keep in touch with us on Facebook and Instagram for our off season Try It Tuesday videos with my assistant, Enzo. We have a few good ideas to try and you're not going to want to miss us drinking aloe juice and drying flowers in the microwave for starters. If you've got ideas that you've been wanting to try but haven't had the time or you just want us to try it first, send them our way, we're always game (almost).
And, in closing, here is a quick trip down memory lane at some of my favorite moments from the season. We sure did have some fun and, boy, did I eat well!
